Our community club welcomes all players and promotes a safe and fun environment for the whole community. Come and enjoy family friendly fun for everyone. We support Palmwoods, The Hinterland and the local Sunshine Coast community.

The Hinterland Football Club has a long and storied history on the Sunshine Coast, established in 1970 and formerly known as Nambour and Hinterland AFC. Based in Palmwoods, we have members from under 6's all the way through to our senior men's and women's teams.

Hinterland Blues is one club. We field Junior, Youth boys and girls, Senior men’s and Women’s teams. Whilst we love to win and have had many successes across our history, we also value community and the participation of all our members.

Junior teams play in the SEQ Juniors Competition, Senior Men and Reserves will play in the QFA Division 1 Competition for 2023.

Our Senior Women’s team will continue to play in the QFAW Div 2 North.

We are a club but more importantly we are a family and an extension of our local community!

Fifty Years

In 2024, we celebrated Fifty (four) Years of the Nambour & Hinterland Australian Football Club. At that event, we named Teams of the Decade for the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, 2010s and for our Women's program. We also named a Team of the Half Century to celebrate over 50 years of our great Club.
